THERE’S NOTHING TO DO IN SIOUX CITY!

05.07.08

How many times do you hear that in a week? If you’re out and about much in the bars and restaurants in the Siouxland area, you’re hearing it. No, we’re not New York City, but who wants to be. The clubs, bars, restaurants and event centers in Siouxland, offer locals a wide variety of entertainment options.
As an example, May kicked off with something for everyone. You could get your cultural fix with a Sioux City Symphony performance or live theater, satisfy your hip hop groove with Minneapolis rapper Izzy Dunfore, dance to the beat of local bands, trip back to the early 90’s with national touring artist Supernova and catch a world-class country talent at the Orpheum with Loretta Lynn. That’s quite a bit going on for only two days!
Area promoters are busy organizing sporting events and outdoor music shows that fill the summer with exciting things to do. Fridays on the Promenade will begin June 13 with an excellent lineup of live music. Of course Saturday in the Park and Awesome Biker Nights are putting together great events again this year.
Our goal at www.nightlifesux.com is to increase awareness of all the entertainment happening in Sioux City and the surrounding area. We invite you to check us out on a regular basis. You’re sure to find something that suits your taste. So, the next time you hear someone say, “There’s nothing to do in Sioux City,” tell them they aren’t paying attention. There’s an abundance of things to do in the Sioux City area restaurants, bars and event centers. You just have to get off your couch and join in the fun that is Siouxland!
